Talking Simulator
Talking Simulator is a game about talking. A T-rex listens, and you speak out loud, one word after the other. Each story is about 240 words and takes about two minutes to say if you speak very slowly; there are three in English and three in Italian.
Each word you say is chosen from a column of three cards, but only one is correct: it continues the sentence. The other two are silly or just wrong. Just speak out loud the word you want to pick.
How to play
- Say the word of the three that continues the story. The line and the green card show you the way; press H to hide them and play on your own.
- No microphone, or the voice does not work for you? Press 1, 2 or 3 for the top, middle or bottom card.
- L switches the language at any time (it starts the game again).
Privacy
The game itself never records or stores your voice. It uses your browser's speech recognition (the Web Speech API), and in Chrome that means the browser sends the audio to Google's servers to turn it into text; Edge uses Microsoft's. The game only receives the text. If you do not want that, play with the keys. The only thing the game remembers on your device is the language you chose (in your browser's local storage).
